I am so happy for Bethany and her husband, Adam Dirks. She is such an inspiration and role model, that her wait for true love is a beautiful thing for everyone to see.

Bethany is Engaged!

The title is true! Bethany is getting married. I screamed when I heard! I am so happy and excited for her. I think I am going to write her a congrats letter :)

Her fiancé's name is Adam I think, but I don't know a whole lot about him. She kept it a secret pretty well! :) She didn't talk about it a whole lot.

I lover her! :)

Hey! Sorry about not posting In a while. I thought you should know, there are some clips in Soul Surfer that Bethany is REALLY in! P.S. she does a load of the surfing scenes too. :)

She is in the movie at the part where they are on the mission trip. She walks by carrying soccer balls

CDs On iTunes!

Check it out!! the movie ,soul surfer, soundtracks are on iTunes! They have been there for a while, but I never got around to telling you. There are two cds, the movie, and a preiview on itunes. You can buy the cds and movie.  The first cd is some of the custom songs and stuff. The second is various artists throughout the movie. :) enjoy! I know i do! ;) Thanks.

Hiya! I got a facebook recently, and I looked up Bethany on it. Turns out, SHE HAS ONE!! Well, doesnt everybody now?? But anywho, I followed her, and now I get to look on THE REAL Bethany's page. Soul Surfer The Book And Movie!

Hi again! Well, as you probably know, Bethany has written a book.  It is called Soul Surfer. You can find it in your local bookstore. :) haha! Anywho, I got it after I saw the movie, Soul Surfer. They are both great.  :) I have the dvd and book.  Here are reviews:

Soul Surfer the book

Soul Surfer is an inspirational book that is fun to read. I am in love with the ocean, so it was easy reading for me.  I love sharks and surfing too.....so yeah, I loved it.  Anywho, I you are in to fictional books, and not the ocean or surfing or sharks, then you might find this book a bit....boring.  I dont know, maybe you'll love it. You knows?? :) Give it a try. :)  Also, it is not too long, so you can gt through it in a week if you tried.  I thought it was very christian based. I am so glad she added that stuff in! It gves the book an inspirational and uplifting feeling. :)

Soul Surfer the movie

It was really awesome!! The book told me all about surfing, but in the movie, i actually got to see it! I saw the turns, tubes, and gnarly wipeouts!! (the book has a small surfing word page in it) :)  Anywho, I was so happy that in the movie, they talk about God too.  They have a church service, go to a teenager youth group, and pray. There are Christian songs too.  After I read the book, I discovered they went off the path.... just a LITTLE.  Things in the movie, weren't in the book. Some characters even, were fictional.  I liked it, though.  I thought they picked a great cast, and really stuck to Bethany's wants. (Bethany was on set a lot, and told them if she didn't like something)  They were really good about her arm.  They put the green sock ( a sleeve they put on the part of her arm that was bitten off, and put on to take out when edited) Right where the bite would have been.  Overall, it was good.
I loved it.

I'm no expert, so you might not wanna go out and buy something based on my review. :)

sorry it is so small! But anywho, this is the new soul surfer book.  I have this one. It has new pictures inside and new chapters. :) I love it. 

This is the movie.  The dvd case i have looks a bit different, but you get the idea. :)

This is the old book. I dont think they sell this one anymore, but i still like it.  I like this cover better, cause it actually has HER on the cover. In the new one, it is AnnaSophia Robb. :( She is cool though, and did a great job.

Hey everyone! Thanks for viewing my new blog, Fan Of A Soul Surfer.  :)  I have three other blogs to view (but they are about dolls).  You can look at It's A Doll's World, Just Julie, and Fall Is Here!  So, Here are some facts about me.

If you read fact number 6, this is kinda what this blog is about.  I think Bethany Hamilton is awesome.  She likes the ocean, surfing, and God. Which is a lot like me. :) I have studied her, surfing, and The kind of shark that attacked her. Haha. Kind of creepy, huh? Well, I guess you understand how much I like her. :) I have her book, movie, and posters.  I have just sent her some fanmail, and the website said I would get an autograph back from her in about 3 months! yay!
